Although the Disneyland park itself does not serve alcohol, except for the exclusive “Club 33,” there are plenty of bars and places to grab a drink in California Adventures, Downtown Disney, and the Disneyland resorts.
However, ground breaking news has just been announced. After 64 years of Disneyland not serving alcohol, they will begin serving alcohol in the new, upcoming Star Wars Land in 2019! Until then, here is a list of the best bar crawl places around Disneyland.
1. Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is located in the Disneyland Hotel’s courtyard. The bar is covered in artifacts found by Trader Sam on the Jungle Cruise ride at Disneyland. Enjoy the jungle vibes and share a fishbowl sized “Uh Oa!” or other speciality cocktails, along with beers and wines.
2. Lamplight Lounge
This lounge is on Pixar Pier and has recently replaced the “Cove Bar” this past summer. Enjoy handmade cocktails like the “Scream Canister” (Bacardi, rum, cream of coconut, pineapple, orange juice, and Angostura bitters) or “The Short” (Plymouth gin, lime and lemon juice, agave, and seasoned veggies).
3. Karl Strauss Biergarten
This beer truck, in California Adventure’s Pacific Wharf, has a collection of Karl Strauss beers you have to try: Tower 10 IPA, Endless Summer Light, Amber Lager, Red Trolley Ale, Pintail Pale Ale and a seasonal beer. You can even order a giant Mickey pretzel to snack on while sipping!
4. Alfresco Tasting Terrace
Wine lovers, this one is for you! The Alfresco Tasting Terrance, overlooking Radiator Springs, instantly transports you to Italian wine country. The favorite item to order on the menu is a wine flight from the “Disney Family” wineries.
5. Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen
Not only is Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney a great place to eat, but it can also be a lively place to grab a drink! In the evenings, you can enjoy live jazz music in while sipping on drinks such as the “Louisiana Lemonade” (Cruzan Citrus Rum, raspberry liqueur, lemonade, Sprite) or the “Southern Sweet Peach Tea” (Deep Eddy Sweet Tea Vodka, Peach Schnapps and lemonade).
