Must See Non-Rides at Disneyland

Mix it up at Disneyland for a day! Take a break from waiting in long lines for rides and enjoy some of these must see non-rides at Disneyland.

1. Tarzan’s Treehouse

Never got your childhood dream of a treehouse? No worries because you can experience the ultimate treehouse in Adventureland! Tarzan’s Treehouse is 80 feet high so you can have a great panoramic view of Disneyland, you might even be able to spot your favorite characters. Follow the timeline of Tarzan’s life as you climb through the treehouse and experience tons of interactive devices.

2. Pirate’s Lair

Pirate’s Lair, on Tom Sawyer’s Island, is just a short raft trip away from New Orleans Square. You will truly feel like an explorer as you cross rope bridges, venture into Dead Man’s Grotto, and come across (more) treehouses!

3. Toontown

Toontown is a funky little town designed to find gadgets to be poked, pulled, or prodded. Children will especially enjoy wandering around Toontown spotting classic Disney character’s houses, such as Mickey and Minnie!

4. Sleeping Beauty’s Castle

Sleeping Beauty’s Castle is an iconic piece in Disneyland and hard to miss. Most people admire the outside but few wander inside to experience 3D displays and special effects telling the story of Sleeping Beauty. The castle also shoots of an amazing firework show every night at 9:30!

5. Pixar Pier

Recently redone to take over Paradise Pier, Pixar Pier features all the classic boardwalk activities. Try your luck in some boardwalk games, savor treats along the way, and get your shop on!
